The group is closed for the AMA!

Hello everyone. Welcome to the AMA with DexPad, one of the Pioneers! Let’s welcome

DexBruce (CoFounder and Tech Lead)

Shah of Prussia (Communications Manager)

Shah of Prussia:

Thank you for having us!

Cameron:

We are thrilled to have you here too!

Dex Bruce:

Thanks Cryptoswithcam and Kava team for this opportunity

Cameron:

Absolutely! We are happy to have you here.

Shah of Prussia:

It’s an honor to get to pioneer on Kava:)

Cameron:

Before we start asking questions, we would like to cover what the Kava Pioneer Program does and why it has a big impact on the Kava Network.

A major feature of the upcoming Kava Network is the industry-leading on-chain developer incentives aimed at driving rapid growth for the Kava ecosystem and rewarding the best projects and development teams that contribute to it. Obviously, our main focus is going to be onboarding developers and users to the Kava Network. We are the first proven Layer-1 to bring EVM support to a Cosmos SDK architecture, and we think there is a huge opportunity there.

Our goal is to onboard 100+ projects and drive $10B+ TVL by the end of the year to cement Kava not only as a unique Layer-1 in terms of opportunity but as one that is competitive with the biggest networks in the space. One of those projects is DexPad, who is here with us today!

Would you like to do the introduction?

Shah of Prussia:

Of course! Today we are here to represent the DexPad — PhotonSwap group, our protocol collective.

Dexpad is a multi-chain launchpad and provider of DeFi-as-service. It functions as an ecosystem accelerator and an advanced platform enabling projects to smoothly progress from a successful fundraiser to platform launch.

Its unique features and commitment to decentralization place it among the highest tiers of launchpads, and its principle of putting the community first helps towards a future of mass adoption.

Holders of $DXP (Dexpad) token have the opportunity to invest in pre-sales of projects, and enjoy tight integration with LP protocols, of which PhotonSwap is our own.

DexPad has a section dedicated to high quality projects that are vetted and kyc’d to the DexPad team to ensure high quality launches and a safer opportunity for the community and launchpad users.

At the same time,DexPad allows anyone to Mint, Airdrop, Launch and Lock their tokens seamlessly without any coding required.

On the other hand, PhotonSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX), providing liquidity and enabling peer-to-peer transactions on Cronos Chain.

PhotonSwap works with the same automated market-making (AMM) model as Uniswap which is a game changing tech.

PhotonSwap features a native token called PHOTON.

Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to be highlighted cryptoswithcam or if you have any additional details for the Kava community DexBruce !

Dex Bruce:

You have perfectly summed up Shah_of_Prussia

Cameron:

It’s really awesome to learn all those details about your projects! How long have your projects been live?

Dex Bruce:

We have been developing it since April-May 2021. And we launched it on Cronos mainnet on 9th November 2021. Same day as cronos mainnet went live.

Shah of Prussia:

Pioneering on every network!

Dex Bruce:

And later on we went live on Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain and Polygon as well.

Cameron:

You have been in the game for a while. We are grateful to have you deploying on the Kava Network! Your projects sound very interesting.

Let’s get down to serious business. What’s the main focus of your team for this year?

Shah of Prussia:

This year’s focus is on solidifying our position as a multi-chain launchpad and provider of DeFi-as-service.

At this point, our community recognises us as a trustworthy project that has numerous times put their community’s safety ahead of its bottomline.

We are now working on streamlining our processes as a launchpad to make sure that our onboarding becomes progressively better! Both in terms of individual projects’ perspective as well as from our internal resource management side.

On top of that, we are increasing our network communications and we will continue experimenting with more contemporary and alternative marketing strategies.

Last but not least DexBruce is always busy with his team of developers trying to develop the smoothest experience from the technical side of things for projects launching with us, so that users get to focus on what their own protocols do best and leave the technical side to us.

I think that covers it! There’s much more brewing in terms of details, which I would encourage Kava members to ask us in our telegram: https://t.me/DexPad_IO

Cameron:

It sounds like you are already ahead of everyone in the game. What’s DexPad’s competitive advantage?

Shah of Prussia:

I believe DexBruce has done a great job time and time again showing his technical competence to our community; so that definitely helps our image and our reputation. As a protocol, we have numerous times shown to our holders that they are the true priority for DexPad, in true decentralized fashion.

All in all, we possess a great mix of technical and soft skills in our team that lets us develop a true connection with our community and I believe this will continue to help us in the future.

Cameron:

Very good. Since you are one of our very first pioneers, we need to ask you this question. What role does DexPad wish to fulfill on Kava Network?

Shah of Prussia:

Since we will be joining a tight group of selected protocols that are now pioneering on Kava, we hope to bring to the network that which we do best: offer customized launching experiences to other network members together with an array of other defi-as-service tools that allows protocols to only dedicate themselves to the essential coding

On top of that, we have an extensive network on other chains that will also indirectly help in bringing more attention to Kava!

Cameron:

We are thrilled to have you as one of the selected protocols. We want the Kava Network to grow exponentially, how can DexPad help new projects to launch on Kava Network?

Shah of Prussia:

I think DexBruce knows best how to handle these technical questions!

Dex Bruce:

DexPad started with the goal of making a safe and secure decentralised launchpad. Then we realised that any project which wants to do a presale might also need a locker as well. So we worked on lockers as well as the token factory. and similarly, we developed an Airdropper to make sure they can reward their community without doing all those rewards manually.

Ultimately DexPad became a one-stop solution where project owners can focus on their product and use DexPad for all their blockchain-related tasks. Starting from minting their own token, presale them, locking Liquidity and Tokens and airdrop to their users for the competitions etc.

One such project you can check is ICYCRO. They minted their token on DexPad and used our lockers and Airdropper extensively.

Cameron:

That sounds quite interesting. I have a couple of more questions before we open this group for open-end discussion.

How does DexPad make sure that honeypot tokens are not able to create a presale on DexPad?

Dex Bruce:

That’s actually our USP across other launchpads. You might have heard that many decentralised launchpads are filled with so many rugpulls.

DexPad has certain checks to prevent honeypot tokens from doing a presale:

1) If the token is already being traded against existing pairs then we don’t allow creating a presale.

2) By default presale can be created for tokens minted on DexPad and if the token is not minted on DexPad then we require them to submit the code and we manually check for the possibility of a honeypot.

So this will negate the risk of people contributing their money and then not getting a tradable token in return.

Cameron:

Very good. Recently, rugpulls have been a huge headache for cryptocurrency users. How does DexPad make sure to protect investors’ safety by preventing immediate rugpulls?

Dex Bruce:

So when we ourselves got burnt one such rugpull (Anibus) we started adding extra checks across our presale contracts.

At DexPad we require every presale to provide 50% of the raised amount to create Liquidity pairs on dexes. Once the LP is created those LP tokens are locked for a minimum of 1 month to make sure that contributors can have at least a month if they find anything suspicious and rug projects can not remove LP as it’s locked minimum of 1 month.

Our previous two vetted presales MMFinance and Crocos provided 99% of the raised amount for Liquidity.

Cameron:

We are glad to learn you have taken extra steps to protect investors’ assets to give them peace of mind.

Cameron:

We decided to wrap this up early and we are asking you to join DexPad’s community to share your questions there. https://t.me/DexPad_IO

Shah_of_Prussia, DexBruce Thank you very much for your time responding to the questions here. We enjoyed having you here.

Shah of Prussia:

Thank you for hosting this, cryptoswithcam . Anyone who might be interested in asking us questions so that we don’t have to weed out the bots — just do so in our channel!
